Pushkar:
On the concluding occasion of the 43-day Shat Gayatri Punashcharan Mahayagya held in Pushkar, a felicitation ceremony was organized to honor individuals actively contributing to service activities. During the event, people from various fields who rendered notable service were awarded certificates and mementos in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
During the ceremony, Yagya Samrat Prakhar Ji Maharaj conferred the Vipra Ratna Honour upon spiritual writer and senior journalist Vijay Kumar Sharma, who is also the author of the widely discussed mythological work Parshuramcharitam. Along with him, Naveen Sharma from Bijaynagar, who rendered continuous service throughout the Mahayagya, was also honored with a memento. Other contributors were similarly recognized for their service.
In his address, Prakhar Ji Maharaj stated that honoring learned individuals is a matter of pride. He emphasized the importance of service, spiritual practice, and values, appreciating the dedication of all volunteers.
Former judge and President of Sanatan Dharma Raksha Sangh Ajmeru Rajasthan, Ajay Sharma, said that the Mahayagya played a significant role in spreading spiritual awareness in society. He added that recognizing those actively involved in service is the duty of the organization.
Vijay Kumar Sharma has made remarkable contributions in the fields of literature and spirituality. His book Parshuramcharitam presents a detailed and research-based account of the life of Lord Parshuram. His writings are regularly published in various newspapers and digital platforms across India and abroad, reflecting Indian culture, Sanatan traditions, and social values.
